Preston High CTE students attended the school day parade at this year's Preston County Buckwheat Festival. Preston High School CTE was recognized by the WVDE as one of the top 5 CTE programs in West Virginia. We are proud of all the students and staff. Great job to everyone!

South Bus Announcement - Bus 50-25, Tim Cline, for South and PHS students will be running 30 minutes late today.
Just a reminder that tomorrow the 25th is a 2 hour early out, with no school on Friday the 26th for all to have an opportunity to enjoy all the Buckwheat Festivities. Schools will also be closed Monday the 29th, with only extended contract employees reporting. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Buckwheat Festival.

Terra Alta Bus Announcement - Bus 70-16, Charlie McCarty for Terra Alta and PHS students will not be running tomorrow, Tuesday the 23rd.
The PSAT will be given on October 15th at PHS. The cost will be $20 per student; checks need to be made payable to Preston High School. Sign-ups will begin September 22nd with the secretary in the Counseling office. We will be able to test 100 students. Preference will be given to Juniors, but registration will be open to grades 9-11 (first come first serve).

Preston County Inspector Joe Stiles visited the PHS forensic science classes today to discuss the career, evidence collection, court room presentations, closed cases, and other topics related to the field.
