Congratulations to Mrs. Royce's Second Grade Class for being the ONLY group to design a contraption that allowed their pumpkin to survive the drop from the KVFD truck lift! The annual Pumpkin Drop is an event that both students and staff look forward to that wouldn't be possible without the generous volunteering of time and materials by the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Kingwood Walmart for donating the pumpkins!

Kingwood Elementary Students have been becoming college and career ready this week! Each morning on STOMP News, a college fun fact has been shared, while students and teachers have learned about and discussed information to get them thinking about their futures. In addition, a school-wide career collage has been created in the hallway for all to see. Tomorrow, we will wrap up College and Career Exploration Week by wearing our favorite college colors. See you in the morning!

KES Students: Remember that Picture Day is tomorrow, November 2nd! Can't wait to see your smiling faces in the morning!
