Bruceton School Weekly Events:

Monday:
- Girls Basketball (JV & Varsity) play in the first round of the county tournament against South Preston beginning at 5:00. Both games are being held at East Preston.

Tuesday:
- Second Round of girls county basketball tournament. (Teams TBD). Games will be held at Central Preston and Aurora.
- Boys basketball at Davis/Thomas Middle School. (6pm)

Wednesday:
- Spring Picture Day
- Boys home basketball vs. West Preston (6pm)

Thursday:
- Parent/Teacher Conferences (4-6pm)

Friday:
- County girls basketball tournament championship game (teams and location TBD)
- Boys basketball at Suncrest (6pm)

Professional Day - No Students on Monday the 16th - Just a reminder that tomorrow is a professional development day for staff.

Spring Picture Day is Wednesday, February 18th.

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 19th from 4-6pm.

Bus 17-20, Gary Matthews' route, will be running the 'B' run this afternoon, Friday, February 13th. That will have kids on his route arriving 45-60 minutes late.

Our schools are still accepting Pre-K and kindergarten registrations. Just drop by your local school for an enrollment packet. Enrolling now for Pre-K helps to make sure your child has a spot in next year's classes. If you have questions, just call your area school.

Bruceton PM Bus Run 2/13: Bus 17-20 Gary Matthews will be using B Run schedule as posted on the BOE website tomorrow afternoon.

Correction to the message about the mandatory middle school track and field parent/student meeting. It is Thursday, February 19th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria.

Don't forget about the Bruceton Band Talent Showcase this evening at 6:00. Entrance is by donation. All proceeds support the band.

Alternate Bus Routes (Bruceton/Aurora) Friday, February 13th:
The following busses will all be using alternate stop locations in Bruceton for Bruceton and PHS students - Bus 75-16, Shelly Wolfe, Bus 22-21, Gerri Shaffer, and Bus 69-18, Shelley Reckart.
The following Aurora bus will be using alternate stops - Bus 64-15, Rebecca Poole for Youghiogheny Drive.

Bruceton School had 19 students who won 1st place at the Bruceton School Social Studies Fair in January. All 19 competed at the county level today and placed either 1st or 2nd in their divisions. The home middle school basketball game against West Preston that was postponed from this Friday has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 18th beginning at 6:00pm here at Bruceton.
