Good morning. Due to today's power outage and in anticipation of potential weather this afternoon, Terra Alta East Preston is changing the science and social studies fair to Friday, December 13th. Students participating in the fairs and all judges will need to make arrangements for the fair to take place on Friday.

At 6:30AM, PCS was notified by the power company that there'd be a power outage to Terra Alta East Preston for 3-4 hours beginning at 8:15. Most buses are already on the road. Students will be brought to the school, fed breakfast, and will be dismissed once buses return from PHS. Younger students without parents at home to receive them, will be brought back to the school until arrangements can be made for them to be picked up. Staff will remain at the school for the duration of the outage. If your student doesn't ride the bus, or hasn't left yet, please keep them at home. If you have any questions, please contact principal Ryan or Jessie at
the school at 304-789-2344. Sorry for the inconvenience as this was not planned or notifications weren't made to the county until this morning.

Reminder: Those homeschooling parents interested in having their students take any of the state tests offered, including the WV General Summative Assessment in the Spring, please complete the following form by this Friday the 13th.
