Good afternoon, Eagles. Here's this week's Eagle Cast. https://youtu.be/LJ1OR9H0hmo?feature=shared
Also, please welcome to the TAEP staff our new long-term sub kindergarten teacher - Mrs. Susan Daetwyler and long-term sub middle school science teacher - Miss Megan Garver.

Dear Parent/Guardian of TAEP 8th grade Students:
Hello! I am writing to discuss your child’s career portfolio that he/she will present in a mock job interview with selected representatives from the community. We have been putting this portfolio together whenever I come into class. Please help them gather the items that they need and scan and upload them to their Schoology Career Portfolio, which the list of requirements is in my Schoology course. This career portfolio will be for an English grade. Their interview will be on Friday May 23rd and they will need to dress business casual. This interview consists of them presenting their career portfolio and being asked questions about their goals in life.
As always, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any concerns or requests. I am at Terra Alta East Preston School on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
(This link will take you to an example of how the career portfolio should look:

Preston County Schools is proud to once again collaborate with Let Your Light Shine for Preston County, Wal-Mart, and the many other businesses and churches in the county who work to supply complete Easter Dinners for 500 of our own families who find themselves in need. Our schools take up donations and hold drives in an effort to assist, as well as many of our schools will serve as distribution sites on April 11th and 12th. More information will follow as we get closer to those dates. Any families in need can contact their school's counselor or student support team. For more information on either applying for the meal, or if you're wanting to volunteer or donate, you can contact either the school's student support team, or search Let Your Shine For Preston County and get directly in contact with them. We greatly appreciate these efforts around another holiday season, and are proud to continue to work to make the lives of Prestonians better. Thank you for the continued invitation to collaborate on such a good initiative.
