Middle school girls basketball is having an organizational meeting for girls in grades 6-8 who want to play basketball this season. The meeting is October 1st at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Girls and and their parents are asked to attend if possible.

Just a reminder that tomorrow the 25th is a 2 hour early out, with no school on Friday the 26th for all to have an opportunity to enjoy all the Buckwheat Festivities. Schools will also be closed Monday the 29th, with only extended contract employees reporting. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Buckwheat Festival.

Our 6th grade history students are getting ready for a test on World War I. To prepare, students are playing the Headbands game. Each gets a word from a choice of cards, place the card in their headband without looking at it, and their teammates have to answer yes or no questions until they figure out the vocabulary words that are in their headband.
