We have been informed by the Kingwood Water Works of a water main leak near the campus of Preston High School that will require repair. Tentative timelines provided estimate service to be restricted starting at Preston High and Central Preston between 1 and 2 PM. Based on the short period to time with restricted service, we do not intend to dismiss school early; however, we plan to make arrangements to ensure designated restrooms can be serviced for the remainder of the day. Shuttle buses will run for the limited number of students that will be in the facility beyond the instructional day. However, the Central Preston band concert at the Preston High Auditorium and the Girls' Basketball game with Mountain Ridge at PHS are postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
