In Preston County Schools and at Terra Alta East Preston, there is a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to Vaping, possession of, or use of any substances containing nicotine or tobacco. It shouldn't, but also needs to be stated that ALL students at Terra Alta East Preston are under the legal age to use and/or possess any of these products. If it is found that your child is in possession of any of these products and you the parent, or legal guardian has knowingly supplied this to them, reports will both be made to local law enforcement, as well as to CPS. This is the LAW and will be followed as such. This message is to serve as both a final warning and a deterrent to those parents who are continuing to neglect the LAW and choose to damage both their child's education, as well as their physical well-being. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss this further, feel free to come to the school and speak with Mr. Hough. Again, this is the LAW.

COVID UPDATE
Just a reminder that if your child is vomiting and/or has other stomach-related symptoms, especially if accompanied by a fever, please do not send them to school. We presently have a 24-hour stomach virus making its way around the building, so to ensure our building stays healthy and more people avoid this, again, if your student has symptoms, please keep them home and send in a note, so that we can excuse them. Thank you.
