The end of the year bash at Reedsville Park will be held Wednesday, May 29th, from 6 - 8 pm. Parking available at Town Hall, Old School Pizza, and Reedsville Baseball Fields. Games, prizes, food, drink, cake walk, kettle corn, ball tournament, & shaved ice.


Preston County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early tomorrow, Friday, May 24th, the last day of the school year. Have a safe and fun summer! And don't forget to read 20 minutes a day! See you in August!

Today students in grades 5 & 8 will participate in the WV state science summative assessment. Next week, the week of May 13th, students in grades 3 - 8 who missed state assessments will take make up tests. If you have questions or concerns please contact your student's teacher.

The WV Army National Guard is putting on a hoops to heroes camp throughout the summer for any students age 13-18 who wish to participate. Forms are due back by the 15th for GPA verification. Any 8th grader interested, please stop by the office for a form. This program is completely free and a great opportunity for our young people.

Attention all 8th grade parents: The 8th grade students have been working on their career portfolios in Schoology. Please help them finish up these portfolios by uploading files and pictures that they still need. They will present their portfolio during an interview with community volunteers at the school. The career portfolios need completed by May 13th and the interviews will be on Wednesday, May 15th. The students will need to dress business casual for the interview. This interview consists of them presenting their career portfolio and being asked questions about their goals in life. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Durst at the school. Thank you!
