With yesterday's and today's snow days, the tentative last day for students is now Thursday, June 5th, with the 4th and 5th serving as make-up days. June 6th and 9th will be the final teacher work days.

There are a number of Governor's Schools of WV Opportunities for our students in grades 7-11. These can all be found at https://wvde.us/gov-schools/ Applications are available now. We will be featuring different ones as deadlines approach. First up is the Governor's School for the Arts for Current 10th Grade Students. Social Studies Fair Set-up: Set-Up is still this evening at the KVFD Community Building from 5-7. If you have a conflict with a basketball game or event, your project can either be dropped off earlier than 5, or make arrangements for another school representative to bring it up for you.

Preston County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th. All staff will report on a normal schedule and Faculty Senate meetings originally scheduled for today are to be convened before the arrival of students. In addition, setup for the county social studies fair will take place tomorrow from 5-7 PM at the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department.

All other extended-day staff report on a 2-hour delay. All other students and staff do not report. Scheduled data meetings will be rescheduled and all scheduled extra-curricular a ctivities are cancelled and will be rescheduled.

This is a reminder that if we still have a regular, 2 Hour Early Out tomorrow, that all cooks and cook/custodians are to report to the BOE Board Room at 1:30 for food handlers certification/recertification. If anything changes, a message will go out. This is also open to subs.
