Middle school mid-term reports for 7th and 8th grade students are coming home today. Sixth grade mid-terms will be sent home Friday. Sorry about the delay. Eighth grade trip to Washington, DC is tomorrow, April 27. The bus will be leaving at 5:00 am and students need to be here by 4:30 am.

WVGSA testing schedule for the week of May 8, 2023. (Grades 3-8) If at all possible, please do not schedule appointments this week. Monday - Writing Tuesday - Math Wednesday - ELA Thursday - Science (Grades 5 and 8)

Remember the following events: On Wednesday, March 29, we will have Parent-Teacher Conference from 4:00 to 6:00. On Thursday, March 30, we invite parents and students to our Wellness/Activity Night. Report cards will be sent home this Tuesday, March 29.

Preston County Schools will be dismissing two hours early today due to potential flooding concerns in multiple areas of the county. All after school activities are cancelled including grasshopper basketball. Staff is to remain in the buildings until confirmation that students have been delivered home safely.

On March 30, South Preston will be hosting a family Wellness night from 4:00 to 6:00. We will have food, activities, and several visitors from health and emergency services. Hope to see you there!!!

Preston County Schools will be closed Tuesday, March 14th & today will be a “Brain Freeze” Day. Students do not report; however, staff reports on a 2-hour delay. Bus drivers should contact the bus garage for any requirements. Sub personnel is not to report unless they are specifically directed to do so. All schools will be open from 10 AM to 12 PM for students who need help & lunches will be served from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. The guided reading training at Kingwood will occur & participants should report by 9:30 AM. The status of after school activities will be announced later today.
