Today our 5th graders got a hands-on science lesson in biology and ecology from the Preston County Beekeeper's Association.

Some kindergarteners celebrated Dr. Seuss week by making their own Cat in the Hat in art class today.
Our cooks did something special today and transformed our salad bar into a yogurt bar complete with fresh fruit toppings! They're also doing green eggs and ham in honor of Dr. Seuss Week!
Mrs. Moody’s 4th grade class teamed up with their “little buddies” in Mrs. Walls’ 1st grade class yesterday to celebrate Read Across America Week by reading some Dr. Seuss books together.
Don't forget about STEM Night tomorrow from 5:00-7:00. There's activities, hands-on demonstrations, door prizes for students and more.

Today Mrs. Burnsworth's 5th grade class went on a nature walk to observe organisms in the biosphere and document their findings.
Some of our 5th grade students are showing off their work from art class. They've been studying the style of Jim Dine, the first Pop artist.
Join us for STEM Night this Thursday from 5-7pm. Activities, hands-on demonstrations, and more for all ages. We'll have activities from: NASA, Garrett College STEM Department, WVU AIAA, WVU Extension Office, Spark Education, Scholastic Book Fair, and more.
Middle school track practice will start March 6th after school. We will go rain, snow, or shine. Bring running shoes, a water bottle, and weather appropriate running clothes. If the weather is too bad we will be inside. Students will ride the 4:00 bus home or they can be picked up by the football field by 3:50.
