Just a reminder that tomorrow the 25th is a 2 hour early out, with no school on Friday the 26th for all to have an opportunity to enjoy all the Buckwheat Festivities. Schools will also be closed Monday the 29th, with only extended contract employees reporting. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Buckwheat Festival.

Our 6th grade history students are getting ready for a test on World War I. To prepare, students are playing the Headbands game. Each gets a word from a choice of cards, place the card in their headband without looking at it, and their teammates have to answer yes or no questions until they figure out the vocabulary words that are in their headband. The table with the most words guessed are the winners! #SchoolOfChampions #GoodThingsHappenHere

Bruceton PM Bus Announcement - Bus 80-17 will transport students to Mamma's Little Helpers daycare in Bruceton today after school.

Bruceton Bus Announcement - Bus 66-15, Kyle Lee, Bruceton and PHS students, will not run tomorrow the 23rd. There will be bussing for Kings and Queens Daycare, and that number is 17-20 and will run both AM and PM. There will not be pick-ups at Krysview Apartments. Again, Bus 66-15 will not be running tomorrow.

Bruceton Bulldogs shine at Bearcat Invitational

Congratulations to the Bruceton Bulldogs Cross Country team. The boys place 2nd in the team competition and the girls placed 7th.

For the individuals, Tyler Parks placed 1st and set a course record on a hot and humid day. Eli Parker placed 6th, Colt Spiker placed 13th, Jackson Wotring placed 25th, Enzo Richards placed 43rd, Jacob Heubi placed 51st, and Callen Jenkins placed 71st.

On the girls side, Sadie Williamson was the top Bulldog in 28th place, followed closely by Colleen Eisentrout in 33rd place, and Brooke Smith in 36th place. Rounding out our top 6 was Grace Losh in 47th place, Rilynn Wright in 57th place, and Kelsey Jenkins in 72nd place.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Tuesday at South Preston.

We want to send a huge thank you to members of Olive Branch Church here in Bruceton. They came by today and made buckwheat cakes for our staff! Happy Buckwheat Festival Week!

Bruceton School is selling Krispy Kreme donuts! Order forms were given to students. All funds raised help pay for student and teacher supplies, classroom furnishings, curriculum, and more. Orders will be taken through September 22nd. Thank you for your help and support.

For those attending tonight's 5:00pm volunteer and chaperone training in the computer lab, please enter through the main office entrance.

There will be a planned meeting for representatives from school support organizations for district schools on Monday, September 29, 2025 at the BOE Boardroom at 6:00 PM.
