You can still register your child for next year's Pre-K or kindergarten! Just stop by the school or call us at (304) 379-2593 for registration forms. The sooner you register your child for Pre-K, the sooner you can guarantee their spot.

The summer feeding form now includes South as a pick-up location. If you previously filled out a form to request meals, please complete a new form, select South as the pick-up site, and answer the final question that was added so that way we don't account for your child twice.

Sign-ups close on May 15th.

The week of May 4–8 is Teacher Appreciation Week!

We are so grateful to have such incredible educators and role models at Bruceton School. This year’s theme, “Thank You For Helping Me Grow!”, celebrates the lasting impact our teachers and staff have on our students each and every day.

Join us in showing our appreciation.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, with Tuesday specifically being National Teacher Appreciation Day. Every day, teachers transform ordinary moments into extraordinary discoveries. They turn curiosity into confidence, challenges into triumphs and classrooms into launchpads for dreams. Today and every day, PCS celebrates the magic that happens when our dedicated educators pour their hearts into helping our children grow. Thank you PCS Teachers!

Students in grades 3-8 will be taking the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (GSA) soon. It is very important that students are present on testing dates. The following are testing dates for Bruceton School:
May 5 - Writing
May 11 - Science (grades 5 & 8 only)
May 13 - Math
May 14 - English/Language Arts

As in past years, students in grades 3-8 must have completed their GSA assessments before participating in field trips, etc. We appreciate your help in making sure students are present at school for state testing.

A reminder that 2:00pm is the deadline to sign students out from the main office. If it's after 2:00pm, you will need to pick up your child in the parent pick up line. Send a note in the morning with your child if you need to change their dismissal method from bus to pickup or vice versa. This is a precaution to ensure your child's safety and dismissal accuracy.
