Tomorrow are Parent/Teacher Conferences and our Parent Resource Fair. They are from 4-6pm.
Thursday is our annual Veterans Day Program. Veterans are welcome to join us beginning at 8:00 in the cafeteria for our Veterans Breakfast and the program begins at 9:00 in the gym. Due to student arrival and drop-off, we are asking Veterans to not arrive until after 7:45 for the breakfast.
School picture re-takes are Monday, November 13th during the morning.
Bruceton Academic Boosters will meet on Tuesday, November 14th at 6pm.
Our annual Family Fitness Night is Wednesday, November 15th from 5-7pm.
Good afternoon. Bus 123 Kyle Lee will be running approximately 30 minutes late on the first run today, Monday, November 6th. Again, bus 123 in the Bruceton area will be running 30 minutes late on the first run this afternoon. Thank you.
Middle school boys and girls basketball coaches want to remind students and parents again that tryouts are tonight and tomorrow. Girls tryouts are from 5-6:30 and boys tryouts are from 6:30-8.

The Preston Squires Middle School Wrestling Team will have its first practice on November 6, 2023, at Preston High School right after school. All Preston County Middle School Students Grades 6-8 are welcome to participate. Transportation has been coordinated from all Preston County Middle Schools to Preston High for student athletes who wish to participate. The bus schedule will be posted on the Squires Wrestling Facebook Page or contact your school administrator. We have already made it through quarter 1! Your students (all grade levels) should receive their first report cards this week.
Students in grades K-4 are also receiving information about a survey for families. Your opinions are valuable to us! Please take a few minutes to provide feedback about K-4 report cards. Today, Ms. Holly’s PreK class celebrated Halloween with some math and science! They sorted, graphed, and constructed a skeleton with Cheetos bones. Then, they discovered the science behind magnets to make their ghosts fly. #SchoolOfChampions #GoodThingsHappenHere

Just a reminder that for tomorrow's costume day, all costumes must be school-appropriate. Kids cannot have masks covering their faces and costumes cannot have props that could be considered weapons or dangerous.
This week the Mobile Agriculture Lab is on-site for our kids to try out experiments and do activities related to the importance of farming, agriculture, and life sciences. Here are some pictures of Miss Neff's kids doing some ag-tivities.

Thanks to the work of our Academic Boosters, the Mobile Agriculture Lab will again be visiting our school this week. Classes will be visiting the lab for experiments and activities. Just FYI: having the lab will reduce the amount of parking in the main office parking lot.
Report cards will be distributed on Tuesday and Parent-Teacher Conferences and Parent Resource Fair are set for November 7th from 4-6pm.
