Parent/Guardians, It is that time of year again when the West Virginia Secondary Schools Activity Commission (WVSSAC) requires an athletic participation form be completed by parents and physicians for any middle or high school student participating in athletics or band. To help you meet this requirement, Preston County Schools have partnered with Mon Health to provide this service. Please visit the Preston County webpage at https://tinyurl.com/PCS4Sports for more information.
Parents/Guardians of 7th & 12th graders: Your child will be required to have immunizations completed before returning to school this fall. There is not a grace period and they will not be allowed to enter school without these immunizations. For seniors they need proof of a TDAP and their second Meningitis/MCV4 vaccine that must be given after the age of 16. For 7th graders they need proof of a TDAP, and their first Meningitis/MCV4 vaccine. You can visit our webpage to view the vaccine requirement chart if you have questions.

Each year on the last day of school it's tradition that students, bus drivers, and staff do battle with water cannons, balloons, and more. We're not sure which side won, but it certainly was fun! Happy summer!

A reminder that if you have medication for your child in the nurse's office, please pick it up either this week or on Tuesday, May 28th. If it is an 'as-needed' medication such as Tylenol, you can get it anytime during school hours. If your child has a medication that is given every day, you can get it anytime during school hours and the nurse will count out how many more are needed for your child for the school year and you can take the rest home. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the school nurse.
Everyone knows Mr. Brewer's love of pickles. Today, 8th grader Aiden Johnson brought him a happy summer gift: 15 GALLONS of pickles! Let’s hope this lasts him all summer!
Preston County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early tomorrow, Friday, May 24th, the last day of the school year. Have a safe and fun summer! And don't forget to read 20 minutes a day! See you in August!
Please make sure to turn in any summer school enrollment forms to the main office as soon as possible. Students who received enrollment forms were recommended by teachers based on academic need.
