Bus 65-15 (Aaron Knots) in the Kingwood Area will NOT be making the AM/PM run tomorrow, Friday 10/14/21. Students will not be counted absent.
A required class for anyone interested in becoming a substitute custodian for Preston County Schools is scheduled on Friday, October 15th at the Preston County BOE Boardroom. The custodian class begins at 11:30 AM and should take approximately two hours.

To obtain a Proof of Enrollment for the Department of Motor Vehicles, please visit the prestoncountyschools.com website. Click on Menu, then Parents & Students, and then Attendance. At the bottom on the right, please complete the Request for Proof of Enrollment link.

Morrel Bolyard - Bus #43 in the South Preston Area will NOT make the AM and PM run on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 due to the lack of subs. Your child will not be marked absent.

A required class for anyone interested in becoming a substitute cook for Preston County Schools is scheduled on Thursday, October 7th at the Preston County BOE Boardroom at 9:00 AM. All potential applicants must be a high school graduate, pass the online cook exam given at the class, obtain a valid food handler's card, pass a background check, and will need to submit a bid for the position by visiting the Preston County Schools' website at https://prestonboe.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx. The phone lines at South Preston School are currently down for both incoming and outgoing calls. Frontier is not anticipating resolving the issue before the end of school today. If you have any urgent messages, please email school secretary Becky Hershman at rhershma@k12.wv.us. The Board Office can also can get in contact with the school if necessary.

We are happy to announce that we have been contacted by our internet provider and they have advised that the circuit at Preston High School has been restored. This was a very quick resolution and we apologize for the multiple messages. PHS staff should now be able to complete any scheduled live sessions.
There is a current internet outage at Preston High School and the Preston County Board of Education Offices. Live sessions with PHS teachers will be delayed until the issue can be resolved. The issue has been expedited with the internet provider. Once the issue is resolved a follow up notification will be sent out.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR MEAL DELIVERY, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP AGAIN. YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE RECEIVING A SECOND DELIVERY.
THIS SIGNUP IS ONLY FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE SECOND DELIVERY.
We are taking orders for any temporary remote, homeschool, full-time virtual, homebound, or children ages 1-4 years old who live in Preston County. The shelf-stable boxes will be prepared and shipped directly to the child's home via UPS.
Please complete this form to have a multiple-day shelf-stable meal box delivered to your door step free of charge. You will need to complete a SEPERATE form for EACH child in your household that qualifies. Only one request per child is permitted.

Meal boxes are beginning to arrive in Preston County. This picture is a sample of a high school student's box. This first box contains 4 breakfast and 4 lunch meals. The next box will have 5 of each. For those of you that missed the first sign up a new registration will be posted soon. Those of you who initially signed up will be automatically receiving the second box.
