Science Olympiad is a nonprofit organization developed since 1984 to improve the quality of science education for students. The Science Olympiad consists of interscholastic competitions for students grades 6th-12th. This year it was help on the campus of Marshall University.
PHS had winning teams in 4 categories this year:
Chemistry-3rd place- Margot Cerbone & Colson Manko
Dynamic Planet-3rd place- Margot Cerbone & Colson Manko
Ecology-3rd place- Taryn Veltri & Damian Rumer
Geologic Mapping-2nd place-Hayleigh Fullmer & Alyssa Friend
Write It, Do It-4th place-Ali Schmidle & Penny Shaffer (tied for 3rd place, but tie breaker question placed at 4th)
