Where do the Wildcats Rank?
There is a lot of misinformation out there about academic standing at our county schools. Below is a summary of where our students at Central Preston Middle School scored on the GSA (General Summative Assessment) during the 2023-2024 school year. We have indicated where we ranked amongst our county schools as well as all schools in West Virginia. Please note that the number of schools state-wide varies due to their configuration. For example, some counties have 5th graders in their middle schools while others have them at the elementary level.
Below is a quick overview of proficiency on each of the tests (math and ELA). Please note that all data was compiled using ZoomWV. Special thanks to Dean of Students, Katie Ware, on gathering all this information. Go Wildcats!!!
